CPQ Specialist Seeking an Experienced CPQ Administrator
Snapshot We are seeking a seasoned CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Administrator with a wealth of experience in CPQ solutions to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in DealHub CPQ, although experience with Salesforce CPQ, Vlocity, Tacton, Cacheflow, Big Machines, and other CPQ software will also be considered valuable. This role is pivotal in optimizing our CPQ processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in our sales operations.

The Work

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building, administering and maintaining CPQ software, primarily DealHub, ensuring its ability to deliver on the needs of the customer.
  • Configuring and updating CPQ software to expand products, introduce new pricing models, upgrade features, and improve workflows.
  • Collaborating with revenue operations, sales, marketing, finance and contracts professionals to build and manage the right CPQ solution for each client.
  • Testing, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CPQ software, providing support to end-users to clients and their users.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed documentation on CPQ processes and configurations using modern means from software as a service and AI platforms.
  • Conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance user adoption and proficiency.
  • Collaborating with CRM administrators to ensure seamless integration between CPQ and CRM systems.
  • Managing CPQ software updates and ensuring the compatibility of configurations with new releases.
Experience A successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CPQ administration, with DealHub experience preferred.
  • Administration experience with CRM software like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Dynamics is a significant plus.
  • A history of successful CPQ software implementation and optimization.
  • Proven experience in configuring and managing CPQ software in a multi-tiered pricing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of pricing models, discount structures, quote document creation, approval workflows, validations, playbook / guided selling logic, product catalogs, product selection and pricing rules.
  • Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using generative AI like ChatGPT is a foundational skill for this role.

Technologies Technologies used in the job:
  • Proficient in CPQ software; experience with DealHub is a plus.
  • Familiar with Excel and PowerQuery; Python knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience with databases like SQL, Postgres, and Airtable is a plus.
  • Proficient with office technologies including the Office suite and video conferencing tools.
  • Familiarity with Project Management software like Project or Monday.com is advantageous.
Education Preferred Education:
  • A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Technical certifications in CPQ or CRM are advantageous.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM are also valuable.
